Steve, I think that's a brilliant idea! If you know of a good address to send it to do you want to do it? I've had no luck whatsoever! I tried the suggestion with the buttons and still, it didn't work. I do have JFW V12 but even that doesn't seem to do it. Perhaps we should forward a copy of this thread to ITV for their information and hopefully, implementation of further accessibility features. I could get it to work before ITV switched from Silverlight to Flash. Anyone tried the ITV player for the iPhone? It is a joke, but can be used with practice. I can see a bit, so realise that there's a blooming great play button in the middle of the Flash object, but ITV clearly haven't used the accessibility functions in Flash, and I can't find a way of activating the button except by using the mouse. About 3 weeks ago they seemed to change the look and feel of it. Now, when you enter on a programme, you are faced with a flash object and you have to click the relevant button to play the video. I have access to three screenreaders, JAWS12, the latest version of WindowEyes, and System Access. Of these, WindowEyes does not recognise the buttons at all and so you are unable to play the video as far as I can see. You can do it with JAWS as long as you are running JAWS12. Any earlier version of JAWS doesn't see these buttons either. If you are using JAWS 12, navigate by button with the letter B and after the search button you will hopefully find a button which says "unlabeled 1". This is the button you need to press to start playback of the video. System Access does see the buttons but it just says button and does not give it any kind of name whatsoever. If you are using System Access, press enter on the first button within the flash object. Hopefully this helps. On the subject of the ITV Player, have you found a way using a screenreader to tick the relevant check boxes to authorise a computer to play restricted content? I haven't found a way of doing this at all. I've written to ITV on the subject but they are simply not interested. I used to be able to simply enter on the program name and it would play but that doesn't seem to work any more. I can't find any tick boxes or play buttons either. Any ideas anyone?
