You are right, that's why the DDA is a load of brown stuff. Jim.
They might just counter with reasonable adjustment. If it is not cost effective to make a reasonable adjustment, such as putting a system that costs thousands in place when profits are at a minimal, then they won't be forced to do so by the DDA. I think this is the argument that Jim's local authority are using already.

Have you tried the three (magic?) letters D D A? It can certainly be argued that, under the terms of the act, they should provide a system accessible to all.
