I can't tell if your set on a combination washer dryer, but my experiences of them is that the drying cycle takes far longer than on a dedicated machine and the capacity of the drying cycle is less than the washing cycles, so you need to remember that when loading the machine.

However, I've just bought a Hotpoint tumble dryer, model Hotpoint Aquarius TCM580P, its very simple to use and they fitted a Braille front panel.

It has one control dial, which is used to set the time, a high heat button and a start button.

Its a condenser dryer so you don't need to plum it in anywhere.

My washing machine is also a Hotpoint, although in this case is nearly 8 years old and is a washer dryer. The washing machine is still working fine.

I think they are a good manufacturer but as with most companies the customer services isn't always that great.

Hi,

Can anyone advise me about either a good (or bad) experience with a current
model. I am not concerned about avoiding or trying to buy from a particular
manufacturer. I am only concerned about the machine we buy being reliable,
effective and having available tactile markings (to order separately if
necessary).

Any advice or tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Best wishes,
