Yeah, and we'll all appeal with you, Chris. I hope you reach a
satisfactory solution.
Another thing you may bear in mind is that, although you may need to
know how to prepare the image, you should be able to ask for
assistance to explain to you exactly where it is and even to get it
where you want it, I would have thought. A sound version sdeems a
great idea. Mind you, perhaps the instructor can't do that well
himself! <Smiles> --

As I said, I'll ask my lecturer if I can use sounds, and maybe a
small logo as an image, but no more. I agree, they can't expect me
to cover my website with images. If they do I'm appealing.
I know people might not like me saying this Chris, nor may you but
I think legally you cannot be expected to draw images and I would
be very surprised if the Examination Board would fail you if you
do not do this part of the module. Have you spoken to them about
it. Might it not be possible for you discuss with them putting in
sound instead? Eleanor

Subject: [access-uk] Accessible Imaging Software
Hi all, for one of my assignments I've got to create a website all
about a castle I've been assigned to. One of the requirements is
to display images as part of the content, otherwise I'll fail.
Does anyone know of any software that will allow me to at least
draw basic shapes to make up an image, using the keyboard? I
don't mind if it's free or commercial, so long as it works with
JAWS 9/10, works under Vista Home Premium and is accessible
enough that I can draw basic images. I'm not expected to resize
them of course, not without sighted help anyway, just something
so I can produce images. Thanks in advance for the help that I
need to pass this module. --
