Presumably you've thought about your phone? I must admit I use mine regularly
for the calendar, and you can synchronise with your PC too.

Does anyone know of a pocket sized or smaller accessible gadget which is just a
calender? It doesn't matter if it has some other features, but nothing else is
necessary. I'm just looking for a stand alone calender device with speech which
can be carried around in a pocket or bag.
