Hello,

There is a series of guidelines which all government web sites are supposed
to adhere to, and depending on how well a site matches up to the criteria,
it can be awarded A, AA or AAA compliance. I believe all government web
sites are supposed to meet a minimum of the AA standard.

I have been asked to find out whether these guidelines apply to intranets
within local government, or whether it is only external government web sites
which are supposed to meet the criteria.

If someone can point me to a specific page concerning this subject which I
can pass on, I would be grateful.

Thanks,

Caroline.
