[access-uk] Re: Accessable Digital Radio's

Most digital portables are at least partially accessible. I use the Pure
Evoke 1 which is simple to set up and to use, including putting stations in
the memory. It is worth a phone call to Tapesense as they often have very
good deals on DAB portables, sometimes for around fifty pounds.

Margarita. A friend of mine, totally blind, uses the Bush stand-alone radio
and he managed to set it up himself.

Another frinedfriend, again total, uses the original Pure mono stand-alone.
Both of these, I believe can be bought for £100 or less at places such as
Dixons. Dobtless you will get plentiful replies, but hope that helps a
little.

Ray.
