Well, I just tried and found carpet places offered for 30 plus miles away ... and nothing nearer! Hope everyone else who tries gets something better!

Does anyone know of specific sites which list recommended
workmen, e.g. electricians, builders, double-glazers, etc,
which you can go onto to get an idea who you can trust to do
a good job for a fair price?

Conversely, so that you can find out if a given specific
workman in your area is a known bad worker, dishonest price
charger, using third rate procedures or unscrupulous in any
way, does anyone know of Websites which list such persons
and their companies?
