Presume Adrian you emailed Pure about accessability. Wonder if you
could give an email address?

I shall do a search, but I often find this sort of thing hard to track
down.

I wrote to them recently pointing out that as they now have many
cheaper products with equivalent or better functionality it would be
nice to see ivox on one of the newer machines especially those with
play from memory card, and time shift features. I got back a polite
but "no plans at present" type Email but with a promise to pass
feedback on to management. Maybe if a few more people sent similar
messages...

Hi Darran

At the time, I sent Pure some feedback, and tried to encourage them to
fit the Ivox speech into some of their other products that were more
menu driven. They were initially enthusiastic, saying they would
consider putting speech into products with bigger memory capacity.
But it never materialised.

It is still available at John Lewis and I think Simply Radios, but
most of the specialist market has gobbled it up. I never knew QVC did
it, and that kind of made me laugh because I could have imagined their
sales pitch.
