Hi Steve. If you have WE7 or Jaws installed you can't use their Eloquence voices with System Access. I was told with earlier versions that this is possible. Why would you want to buy Eloquence? You get it free with JAWS, Window-Eyes 
and probably Hal/Supernova too, but I am not sure about that.

Hi, Sorry to highjack this one for my own uses but took a look at the
Turkish voices last night and was pritty impressed with one of them Ipek. 
For some reason though that wasn't one of the voices I was able to
download
for demo purposes. Any idea why?

I found that with the 2 Turkish voices I did download there was a major
problem with the dotless which WE reports as 1 and the acapella voice
reports as the Turkish for 1 IE bir.

I'm not sure if this is a WE reading problem, an acapella problem or a
problem with the Turkish character set I am using. I think the latter is
unlikely though as I'm sure the dotless i appears correctly.

On the English voices, I tried Ryan but noticed a few weard
pronounciations.

But will be giving some of the other voices a go.

Am I right in assuming that Steve is the receller?

All the others work with JAWS out the box, so I don't see why the Arabic

Yes indeed. Salma and Youssef are the Arabic voices. Go to Demos, Voice
Samples, Arabic and you'll see them there. These two synthes are the
ones
used by Talks Arabic, Hal Arabic and they work with NVDA too. S&S are
not
sure if they will work with Jaws out of the box so I'd like to install
them
and see.
