I'd uninstall AVG through the Add/Remove programs wizard. Then make sure you
get the Grisoft folder that resides in the Program Files folder. Then
install your AVG Pro.

Hi George,

I have done that and then tried to update but even with the registered
version of AVG Professional I am getting an error when trying to update.

I will give grissoft a ring on tuesday unless someone like yourself or
another list menber can give me some advice.
