Hi Carol,

This is interesting. Last night's corrie was fully audio described this
time on Sky. So it was only Freeview that had the problem this time. I got
the full gory details, even down to Katie smashing her insulin tablets
<Smile>.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] AUDIO DESCRIPTION

Hi All,

I'm back again but this time want to suggest that those interested in
carrying forward the complaint of the lack of Audio Description on ITV
recently should just email me and I'll put your names and addresses in
an appropriate list and keep you updated.

For now, let me say that I have received no acknowledgement of my email
so far and noticed again last night that there was a lack of description
for both ITV showings of "Coronation Street". Because they were rather
vital ones (being quite visual), I decided to look on ITV2 later to see
if they had Audio Description at that time. I managed to turn on for
the latter part of the second episode of the evening and, yes, the audio
description was there! Now that means it's likely the problem is not
caused by lack of people to prepare the audio description, though of
course this is by no means certain.

Anyway, names and email addresses, please with a subject line of AUDIO
DESCRIPTION, sent to me privately would make life easy.

Thanks.
