Wendy -

I have bought comercially available audiobooks from Chivers and Isis in the past, and when I mentioned I was blind, they aranged to send them using AFB
labels, waving the delivery charge, so if they can do it then... -

| I don't see why not, so just ask at your Post Office. However, be sure
you
| are only using articles for the blind free post for things which are
| actually special for us. DAISY books are ok, but commercially recorded
| books, DVD's, CD's, etc, are not, as they can be bought by everyone and
| played on standard equipment. I believe there are hefty fines for
| infringing the rules, and you can't take the risk that they won't check.
| The Post Office is losing too much money these days, so they may well
target
| us for spot checks.

| Hi all -
|
| When sending a parcel, is it possible to use an AFB label to send it first
| class free post, and just pay the outstanding balance to upgrade the
parcel
| to recorded delivery? -
