Hi Jackie,

Ah, OK then, I stand corrected. I thought cursor mode didn't come until
V2.5, but I was obviously wrong. I am getting old!

All the best

Steve

Carol, we still have a 6600 that I use to teach people how to text. I had
the version you are currently running, and was still able to press the TALKS
key, then hold down the number 2 digit for a couple of seconds. It allowed
me to cycle through original, letters and word modes. I upgraded mine for
£50. It was worth it as it gave me Braille support (not that I have a
display), and made the phone run faster.

Hope that helps.

Jackie
