[access-uk] Re: 6630 and battery consumption?

Hi Steve -

Thanks for this additional insight - didn't think about signal searching draining the battery, perhaps that will help Ali.

Hi Andy,

There are other factors that can affect the battery, such as poor signal
strength. If you are in a bad signal area, and the phone is always
searching for a stronger signal, this will impact the battery. The better
the signal, seven bars is optimum on the 6630, the longer the battery will
last.

All the best

Ali - sounds like you have a problem there, my 6630 will last 3-4 days if
not used much! You said everything was turned off, so presumably this means
bluetooth connectivity too?

Hi,
does anyone know if there is a battery consumption issue with Nokia 6630?
I
am running latest talks on my 6630 and the full battery only goes a day
without using the phone. The phone is new and as far as I know all
connections are off.

Thank you.
