Hi all.
If you have the JAWS DVD, it will detect the platform and automatically install the appropriate version for you. If not, then you will have to download the version of JAWS according to your platform. So in this case Janet, you will either need to simply insert the DVD or download the 64 bit version of JAWS 12. No 32 bit version of JAWS will work on a 64 bit operating system.
