:: The next 7Inch shows ::

2003 is set to be the year of dance music advent in and around Townsville. We
are thrilled about the criticism we receive and the steadily increasing amount
of following we experience.

The Phreakin' show (Dec. 28) went really well apart from attendance being
slightly down (a difficult time of the year) so it turned out nice and
intimate.
Both our visitors from Brisbane (Orinoko and Valli Lee) are keen to play for
the Townsville punters again and Orinoko is already set to return in April for
an Anzac day show.

Our next major event will be :: Decked Out 2.0 :: at the Exchange on Feb. 22nd
featuring DJ Dan Marshall from Cairns alongside our 7Inch artists.
This will be a two floor affair utilising the Portraits bar for a deep, groovy
and atmospherically feel with a splash of chilled-out stuff. The slamming stuff
will still be unleashed in the back room.

Dan played a rocking set for us alongside Mag00 from Brisbane in August and we
can't wait to have him back with a bag of ultra-funky and jackin' house.

Again, we have upped the benchmark for sound and vision aided by the tremendous
resources of Wild Gravity.

Flyers and posters are out soon - If you would like to help us distributing
some of the material, please drop us a note on admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

:: Relapse ::

Relapse is the weekly alternative to spit roast and wet t-shirt Sunday sessions
in Townsville, taking over where our sundays at La Bamba left.
Staged at the top floor of the Exchange complex these cruisy afternoons
(15:00-21:00) are hosted by Pakamas and Nathan Hill with rotating visits from
our DJ roster and beyond.
Come and check it out (no covercharge).

:: The year to come ::

Lots of good stuff for you all in 2003!
University O-WEEK will feature two on-campus events from us. We are still
toiling with ideas to make new students aware of our activities. Please push
the mailinglist to any newcomers you may bump into or forward a copy of our
mailout to them.

Our new website is not quite there yet - but we're planning to have it ready
for O-week as well. - Think Dirty is doing some pretty out-there design and
code, so expect a delicious site.

As you know we have done preliminary scheduling for ten up-beat events during
2003. We will have some big act's coming to town (Interstate and international
acts are being negotiated with - the first international slammer potentially
landing already in February).

Furthermore, we will be rigging a massive outdoor electronica event during the
winter months. This event will feature top Australian acts, the devastating
audible power of Wild Gravity's BIG festival rig, a full colour laser system
and loads of moving head visuals to boot. We will need helpers for this one, so
please contact us if you are keen (admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)

:: Artists you wish to see ::

More input on the artist vote would be great, although lots of responses have
been received with gratitude. So, if you care to voice your opinion, please
tell us who you would like to experience live behind the decks, rank them by
preference on a 1-5 scale and send the tally to admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
with artist vote in the subject line.

See you in town
