Hi, Jeff.
i think you are novice, i recomend you to join to UBUNTU and install the
software automatix this software install the driver nvidia correctly and
beryl .
in case to keep you distro please need to you send me the characteristics of
you distro ,model of video card ,etc.
*sorry for my english

So Brad, have you stopped working on 3ddesktop and just joined either
compiz or beryl yet?
They could probably really use you. They're flashy, but their stability
has never come close to matching 3ddesktop in my experience... I'm
trying Beryl again this week, and it works pretty well... for a few
minutes at least ;).. Then it randomly crashes, often times when I'm not
doing anything at all..
I know that with full 3d environments coming out now, 3ddesktop is
likely to see a lot less use, so I'd like to take this opportunity to
say thank you for such incredible software. You were making people go
oooh and ahhhh for years before compiz, beryl, and vista came along, and
I must say that without the eye candy, I don't think my job would have
been nearly as tolerable these last few years.
