I was told that blackbox was compatible or could be compatible 
with KDE.  If fluxbox comes from blackbox can you compile or
enable compatiblity mode with KDE?  3ddesktop with --kde might 
work then.

I know you can compile windowmaker with GNOME support enabled
in which case 3ddesktop works.
