Yeah, both are opengl accelerated.
I don't know what exactly is gcc 4.x.x, but i is NOT a stable release,
so you can expect some failures.
Try gcc 3.4.x - that's worked for me. And i will (maybe) try gcc 4.0.x
and report result.
