Hi,
I have Gnome 2.6 on FreeBSD 5.2.1.
I have bind 3ddesk (0.26) to key F12.
When I invoke 3ddesk for the first time
it will work as suspected.
When I invoke it for the second time it might
work as suspected. After the first time it will
happen very soon that it will become unresponsive.
I usually have to do a ctrl-alt-backspace because
alt-ctrl-fn will not work. I haven't done anything
with the configuration file. When I start 3ddesk
with the "--dontexit" option and set the nice value
to a higher value, it will keep working without
hanging my system.
Since 3ddesk will consume a good part of my cpu
cycles in such a mode, I prefer not to use it that
way, but than I will not have it working as it
should...
My hardware is a Dell Lattitude D600 with a
ATI Radeon 9000 video card with 32 DDR of RAM.
I am working in a 1400x1050/24 bits screen.
I like the program and I would like to see this
problem, which I am experiencing, fixed.
I am willing to test a patch if this is necessary.
Regards
LJ
