I've got a different request at this point. Is there any way to have
3ddesk switch desktops without doing any of the 3d animation? I've
looked and looked for a gnome way to switch desktops via a command line
tool and can't find one.
My plan would be to write a script that can tell if I'm in dual-head
mode or not, then call for 3ddesk to switch desktops with animation in
single-headed mode and switch without if I'm in multi-headed mode. That
way I can use the same hot-keys in both scenarios without having to pay
attention... :)
Thanks,
Rick Reynolds
