[3ddesktop-dev] performance issues in dual-head setup (?)

Hello list.
I've been using 3ddesk for a quite a while now, and love the eye-candy
-- very Mac-ish. I recently switched to a dual-head configuration with
a 3040x1200 display (and I can get a higher, better display as well).
When I attempt to switch virtual desktops in this large desktop mode,
the machine hangs about 25% through the animation.
Is this just a symptom of my video card and/or the amount of video
memory I have and is just to be expected? Or is there some config
change I can make that will allow 3ddesk to work in a dual-head mode?
Also, do you need more specifics (probably from /proc) on my card/system
to answer?
Thanks,
Rick Reynolds
