[3ddesktop-dev] Re: desktop capture problems


It is definitely weird that quake3 works but not the other stuff.
Two thoughts.  Try running something that does texturing but not
screen grabbing like I think the xscreensaver hack called "lament"
fits this profile.

Also try running 3ddeskd with the arg --texturesize=256  (or a
smaller number like 128, 64, 32 or even 8).
