[3ddesktop-dev] Re: desktop capture problems



Andy,
Do you have xscreensaver 4.0 installed?  If so, try going into
/usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver/ and running "flipscreen3d" and
also "gflux -mode grab" and let me know if those work.

If those work fine (should get screen captures as GL textures)
then it must be glX, XF86VidModeExtension, or imlib2 or the way
they're being used.

Also does version 0.1.3 of 3ddesktop work?  It does not use a 
daemon you just compile and run 3ddesk, so there is less glX 
funny business.
