ah ha!  that makes sense.  I will put that in the README.  thanks!

Ok thank you.  I'm off for a little vaca for a week but when I get 
back I'm going to do some investigation into the desktop switching 
of other window managers like window maker and blackbox etc.  Hopefully
I'll be able to reproduce and see whats up there.
