Hi list,
as you might already have guessed, it was plain stupid
to switch back to Mesa Software Rendering, since then
was my hardware acceleration gone with the wind.
So I switched back, and back came my fast 3D, and with
it came also back my regular crash at 3ddesktopd start
time.

So I surfed back to discussion forums (found new one), and
there somebody wrote he solved the problem logging in as
root the first time. It must be a joke! Eh? Works for me ;)
Actually, having booted, I login as root into TWM2. TWM2
for a fast boot, since I only login to start /usr/bin/gears.
The past three or four times it worked fine.
I dunno if you have to login as root or boot TWM2 instead
of GNOME or both of it, but it works. Maybe later I try
different scenarios (booting GNOME as root, or booting
TWM2 as user, and try /usr/bin/gears, since than the 3d
stuff is initialized and wont crash when 3ddeskd is called).
Ok, just wanna keep you updated.
Greetings,
Andreas
