[3ddesktop-dev] Re: 3ddesktop version 0.2.6 out

Hello Brad,

It is good to see that the list is active as I have been trying to get in touch with you regarding a few questions that I hope you can help me with.

It is regarding using 3ddesktop in a project that I am working but cold use your guidance.

Regards,
Lonnie Cumberland

Just a note to say I've made a new release with some nifty new features
hopefully for the better. Most significantly there is an autoacquire feature that refreshes the desktop image perodically (enabled by default). This should lessen the inconsistent desktop images that can occur. I'd be interested in
feedback regarding this particular feature.

Also I made an RPM (redhat 9, gnome, nVidia only) and chris hansen has made a
SuSE RPM.

The changelog is below, but I just realized there were some requests made to this list for certain things (including patches!) that I did not get into this
release. I apologize for that and will try to get them into the next release.
I'm anticipating a 0.2.7 release fairly quickly based on feedback from this one. I am planning on getting the endianess patch, the swapping mouse direction stuff and the desktop switch without the graphics into the next release.

Cheers, and thanks for all the interest!
