I compiled imlib2-1.0.6 from source, of course I did it 3 weeks ago and don't
remember if I ran into any trouble.
Here is the command I issue as root to get all of my desktops on kde...
3ddeskd --fastest --kde --acquire --texturesize=256
You use --kde with the daemon NOT the client
I'm using 3ddesktop-0.2.1-1 on kde 2.2-11 and redhat custom kernel 2.4.18
the vidmode extensions come with xfree86 don't they?
man XFree86 search for vidmode
