Here are a few (hopefully) constructive critisicms of the new release.
I'm running KDE here on Red Hat 7.3.

* Installing imlib2 was a bear. You *must* install binaries because imlib2
needs imlib2 to build itself. :-(

* 3ddesk --kde is not supported. it's just not an option that exists.
513 > 3ddesk --kde
3ddesk: unrecognized option `--kde'
usage: 3ddesk [ OPTIONS ]

Maybe the README needs an update?

* 3ddesk --acquire results in only one desktop being displayed. The
controls only cause it to rotate 360 degrees.

* The desktop that gets displayed is white. No images.

* After I say 3ddesk --acquirecurrent, then I get all four of my desktops,
but only the first one is white, the rest are black with a thin white
border.

And one last question: I shouldn't assume that my X server has the
XF86VidMode extensions. How do I tell if I actually do have this?

Please let me know if there's any more data I can provide. I *really* want
this to work.

TIA
