[3ddesktop-dev] 3ddesk with SiS 630?

Hi, together,
I compiled and installed current 3ddesk on an IBM NetVista X40 with SiS 630
shared-memory graphics adapter. (Yeah, I know...)
I found that my card provides some OpenGL acceleration using the standard xorg
driver provided by SGI, so I tried to run this little gimmick ;-)
If I start "3ddeskd --acquire", it will only grab the first desktop and stand
still on the second throwing the following error:
[sis_tex.c:100] Failure to allocate texture memory.
If I run the 3ddesk program directly, it will zoom my CURRENT desktop
correctly away and the other desktops appear gray. If I swap to one other
desktop, it will again issue the above error. (and the daemon dies...).
If I restart 3ddesk again, the same thing happens.
Can someone have a look at the line above? Is it an output of 3ddesk itself or
rather from my xorg driver?
Cheers,
Thomas
