Ok, I ran '3ddeskd -v --workspaces --acquire'. Then I ran from workspace 1:
$ 3ddesktop --gotocolumn=2 --mode=priceisright
from workspace 2 I ran:
$ 3ddesktop --gotocolumn=1 --mode=priceisright
It did reproduce the produce the problem, and here is the 3ddeskd output:
$ 3ddeskd -v --workspaces --acquire
