Hi,
I have an ATI radeon 7500 with DRI and works great. I have an IBM
T42 which is a nice machine but is being slowed by the fact of the
daemon manager to take pictures of the screens so that when one
switches, it has a pic to show you the screen.
I would use another type of method and simply do desktop management
animations. I saw this feature in a Mac with a program called
DesktopManager, and I simply loved it. Can't this software work the same
way? We are currently killing the CPU and using to much resources. We
should use random animations instead of a single screenshot to switch
between screens.
What do you guys say?
.Alejandro
