Also don't use the preview function of your email client and don't open anything, esp from an "alphapbet soup" address but if you get email over a period of time from the same address that looks somewhat normal (NOT janis34DD@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, more like that freepizza one, weird as it was it was legit) it's probably one worth trying to unsub from. If they continue to send you spam you can fwd it to uce@xxxxxxx, not sure how much good that does but it always made me feel a little better, and definitely put your name on the Direct Mktg Assoc eMail Pref List to opt-out, it cuts back spam considerably to the point where if you're careful of who you give your address to (use a web address for anyone you think might sell or share, esp contests) most of the spam will be of the alphasoup porn and viagra variety. http://www.the-dma.org/consumers/optoutform_emps.shtml Sorry for the length of this but while a big fan of Monty Python I have a passionate distaste for spam spam spam spam... -- Catherine Click once daily to help save the Rain Forest, it doesn't get any easier than this http://rainforest.care2.com/i?p=490646306 ~*~*~*~*~ For a complete list of email commands for our list send an email to ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with a subject line of "info 1stpicksoftware" without the quotes.
