In May 2003, eMedicine launched a new consumer health site. With
more than 5500 pages of health content, the site contains
articles written by physicians for patients and consumers. Each
article is reviewed by 2 physicians and a PharmD. Current medical
information is available in the Health Resource, First Aid and
Emergencies, and Lifestyle and Wellness Centers.  The eMedicine
Clinical Knowledge Base contains 30,000 multimedia files and
features the largest online repository of medical education
credits for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and optometrists.
