This comprehensive and well-researched site provides over a
hundred pages of material dealing with the solar system. Among
its many features are stunning images, scientific and historical
facts, information about planetary moons as well as data on
non-planetary bodies such as comets.  Excellent additional links,
an FAQ and glossary are included as well.  Technically, the site
is undemanding in its plugin requirements since its "multimedia"
component is more in the line of brief sound clips (in mp3
format) from Gustav Holst's masterpiece, "The Planets", than
whizzbang effects.
