Museum of Hoaxes
http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/
Hoaxes that are meant to be exposed are usually designed to
embarrass someone upon their exposure, or make some kind of
social point. Media hoaxes often take this form. Examples include
the Great Moon Hoax of 1835, the Swiss Spaghetti Harvest, and the
Sokal Hoax. They rarely result in criminal charges because they
are protected as a form of parody or free speech.
