My niece introduced me to an interesting site tonight.
www.neopets.com It's a whole kids world.  My brother said it's
well monitored and safe for kids.  You buy virtual pets and take
care of them, collect points somehow, spend the points on stuff
for your pets and a bunch more.   From a grown up's stand point I
saw her learning how to navigate, upload, purchase virtual stuff
(ecommerce style), add to her own neopet web page, chat room,
message board, all the skills that society is quickly developing
a need for.  I was impressed!  (And now that I've said all of
this you will probably tell me you've already
featured it before I got here. ;-)

But don't quote me because my words don't do the site justice.
