Thinking about a career as a PCB Designer? Want to upgrade your skills? 

Mentor Graphics <http://www.mentor.com/pcb/>  and Palomar College
<http://www.palomar.edu/Drafting/>  have teamed up with San Diego Chapter of
the IPC Designers Council <http://www.ipc.org/SanDiego/>  to bring IPC based
PCB Design education to San Diego County at Palomar College in San Marcos,
California. Class materials are based on the IPC specs and Mentor training
with a view to helping students get to work with up to date, current Printed
Circuit and Electronics Drafting technology training and skills. Mentor
Expedition and Design Capture are used to illustrate design concepts and
perform classroom design exercises. (Some exercises require the use of
AutoCAD for drafting.)

The classes for PCB Design education at Palomar College, San Marcos Campus
for Spring 2003 are as follows:
DT 140 ELECTRONIC DRAFTING/DESIGN  
#39502 LAB 3:30-6:20pm TTh  COOK, K  E-13  
(3.0 units) 
DT 210 PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD DESIGN 
Prerequisite: DT 140 
#39499  LAB  6:30-9:20pm        TTh     BROOKS, W  E-13
(3.0 units)   
First class begins Tuesday, January 21st, 2003 and classes continue through
May 2003. 
Open Enrollment has already begun on 12-04-02.Make sure to reserve your
spot. Classes fill up quickly. If you can't get in on-line call admissions
at 744-1150 or use the PAR system.
