Here at the lunatic asylum we've been kicking around a few ideas for PCB =
East. One we came up with is to elect a Homecoming King and Queen (hey, =
it's fall, school is back in session, football etc.). This not only gives =
us an opportunity to bother you while you are trying to work, it also =
provides an excellent opportunity to make someone famous even if only for =
a few hours - all in good fun . You are allowed to nominate your selects =
for K & Q. It must be someone - attendee, speaker, exhibitor (not =
exhibitionist) - who will be attending Tuesday and Wednesday at least. It =
would normally be accepted that the King would be male and the Queen =
female, but in this instance we think it will be more fun to forego those =
requirements.=20 About a week or two before the show we will announce the
nominees on the = PCB East web site and open the voting. We will crown the
lucky couple = Wednesday at the show. And just to nip one idea in the bud,
the inmates = here already have enough embarrasment and degradation in store
for yours = truly, so I am decreeing that the only person who will be
attending and = ineligible for this prestigious nomination is Uncle Pete.
So start sending those cards and letters friends, we're busy comin up with =
some fun and off-grid things for the show, be there or be square.
