This page will show you how to put an HTML form on your website to allow your users to sign up more easily. It points to a CGI script hosted at FreeLists that automatically handles sending email to [email protected] with "subscribe" in the Subject or Body of the message.
Simply copy and paste the HTML code below into your webpage, replace "YOURLISTNAMEHERE" with the name of your list, and you'll have a form that can be used to subscribe or unsubscribe from your list. Then place a "thanks for subscribing message" or a URL you'd like to be displayed into the 'value' for the url_or_message form variable. If you don't modify this field, we'll just print a generic message when they're done.

When you're finished, it'll look something like this in your webpage:
The rest of the
process will be handled behind the scenes. If your list is
configured to require a confirmation email, one will be sent to the user.
If you have any questions, or would like to suggest an improvement, please
let us know. (Please note that the above form can't actually be used
because "YOURLISTNAMEHERE" hasn't been configured.)
