This month's featured list is BBSpot Update. We interviewed Brian Biggs, the list owner.

FreeLists: Please describe your list for us and other readers: What is the general focus of your list? What topics are most-often discussed? How much traffic is generally passed on the list in an average day?

Brian: My list gives news and updates for my tech satire site (http://bbspot.com). There are links to new stories, site news for the week, some good links, and a quote of the week. I send the update out once a week.

FreeLists: Please tell us a bit about yourself. What are your interests? How did you come to run this list?

Brian: My name is Brian Briggs. I started BBspot as something to do instead of watching TV in the evening. It has turned into something to do instead of sleeping. I like poking fun at people and companies that take themselves too seriously.

FreeLists: How did you hear about FreeLists, and why did you choose our service rather than one of the many others available? What features and/or benefits attracted you? Are you satisfied with the service? Where is there room for improvement?

Brian: I complained to a friend about the work I was doing to keep my list updated. He found FreeLists for me and told me about it. I am eternally in his debt. I've been very satisfied with the service of FreeLists so far. It has given me the options I wanted and has executed flawlessly so far. Being a geek myself I wasn't intimidated by all the variables and options (I rather welcomed them). I also love the fact that it is a free service, and I hope to give back to the freelists community soon.

FreeLists: Do you have any advice for other list owners?

Brian: Managing the bounces was the best feature for me. Figure out how to use that feature and you will be pleased.

FreeLists: Do you run any other lists at FreeLists? Are you a subscriber on any other FreeLists list? How has your experience with these lists been?

Brian: This is my only FreeList.

FreeLists: What are your plans for the future with your list? Do you plan to expand to a second or third list to handle multiple topics?

Brian: I'm thinking about adding another list to handle readers who want more immediate feedback instead of only once a week.
