philoSOPHIA: a feminist society is a philosophical society devoted to the development of feminist research that draws upon and is inspired by the continental tradition in philosophy. We've recently launched our website (philosophia-afs.org) and we're attempting to demonstrate the importance of using the Internet as a source of communication and information exchange. To facilitate this, we have developed online forums, an online abstract submission for our yearly conference, and an online feedback form. The listserv will facilitate online discussion (with links to the forums and to pertinent online news articles) as well as a method for disseminating our research and our newsletter.
