operationdiabetes2007and8: UCSD Operation Diabetes 2007-2008
American Pharmacist Association - UCSD Operation Diabetes 2007-2008 A group of student pharmacists/grad students at UCSD dedicated to spread awareness of diabetes to the public by volunteering time and energy to host public health fairs, public screenings, open consultation events, etc to the San Diego community in order to educate patients on the additional health risks and diminishing effects on their quality of life associated with the disease . We provide tips on preventive measures/lifestyle changes patients could make to avoid this fate. In addition, we provide free, imeediately screenings in our free healthfairs, especially blood-glucose testing and submit articles to publicate our events in various UCSD newsletters.
