This is a one way announcement list to members of NO2ID Leeds (www.no2id.net). The campaign is against the UK Governments plans to set up an electronic National Identity Register (containing citizens' biometric data) linked to a compulsory national ID card. This is technology related because the Governments plans include a multi-billion pound IT project. Many of our announcements will focus around aspects of this project.
