Friends of the Austin Planetarium is a nonprofit group working to build a Planetarium and Space Science Center in Austin, Texas. Our current outreach efforts include public lectures and demonstrations of contemporary digital planetarium systems. Our core mission is to educate schoolchildren as well as the general community of central Texas about astronomy, physics, and space exploration.
