This list serves as a mailing list to notify people (both editors and non-editors welcome) as to when the Open Directory Project's RDF files are updated (<a href="http://rdf.dmoz.org/rdf/">available here</a>). Most of the traffic on this list will be automatically generated from a script called "checkupdates", which checks the date of the RDF every half-hour. An email is only generated if it detects that the date on the RDF has changed.
