For Concepts of Technology I & II, Keyboarding, and Discovering Computers grades (6-8) at this priority school.
Lessons designed to complement all areas of the academic curriculum. Integrated technology that enhances middle school students' emerging abilities to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information.
Students will be able to use productivity/multimedia tools to demonstrate and communicate curriculum concepts to audiences more effectively. Students will also be able to evaluate the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and bias of electronic information sources concerning real-world problems.
Coordinates and implements news technology class as a valuable teaching tool to help students learn about multimedia, understand the fundamental principles for creating multimedia projects, and practice creating multimedia projects, and practice creating multimedia applications. Students will learn skills in multimedia while developing higher order cognitive skills such as problem solving, synthesis, analysis, and creative thinking.
Promotes skills that will help students by providing them with an understanding of multimedia that can help them reach their personal and professional goals.
