bcab: The BCAB email discussion list
The British computer Association of the Blind is a self help group of visually impaired people using IT with the aid of special access software. The aim of this list is to have a public forum to discuss all issues relating to the use of information technology by visually impaired people. This can include using IT in work, in education or for home use. The list is not restricted to members of BCAB it is open to anyone who has an interst in these issues either through simple interest, a person working in an assistive technology company, researchers developing new approaches to the human-computer interface etc. Although BCAB is based in the UK its membership is international and we appreciate views and information from all sources. If you are interested in IT and its use by visually impaired you are welcome.
