OpenDCS is a software suite to receive and decode environmental data for real-time processing for flood control, water supply, and other uses. Prominent data sources include the NOAA GOES Satellite and HRIT sources. However the software is generic enough to support collection from different data sources such as scrapping webpages or talking to data loggers. The software is used by multiple US Government public and semi-private agencies, and well as other governments. However, all are welcome to use the software if appropriate to their needs. It can be found at https://github.com/opendcs/opendcs.
